Easter warm encouragement from the Foundation
The children we support in Africa and Asia as part of the Heart Adoption program often ask you, their adoptive parents, for something very simple yet important in their letters: a letter from their guardian.
They are waiting not only for material help, but above all for a message that someone is thinking about them, remembers them, and wants to show them a piece of their world. Very few of our students have received such a letter while participating in the program.
For many of them, such a letter, a photo of a dog, a cat, a garden, a view from a window… is something priceless.
It is a way to feel that they are important and noticed in this big world.
So if you find a moment for yourself in the holiday silence, maybe it’s worth spending it on a short letter to your mentee.
It doesn’t have to be long. Just a few words, a photo of your favorite place, a story about what your day looks like.
Maybe right now, this will be the greatest Easter gift for someone.
