Ruth, Naomi, David, and Amiel live under… a shelter. In the 21st century. In 2024.
That’s all their father could afford to protect his children from living on the streets. It’s cold, wet during the rainy season, and there’s a lot of mud.
It’s difficult to study in such conditions, not to mention everyday functioning.
We offered our support to the family because we knew their neighbor well, Francis, a former student of ours who, thanks to his participation in the Heart Adoption program, is now an independent young man with a job and a home, who remains sensitive to the suffering of others. ❤️
The children sleep at his place when it gets too cold or when they need to use the light to study for exams.

By relieving her father of the costs of school, uniforms, and one warm meal a day, we give him the time and opportunity to finance the construction of a shed from his odd jobs.
We try to help wisely. We don’t do everything for them. We give them a fishing rod and support them. And you can give him a helping hand too.
Heart Adoption support is EUR 200 per year per student.
