Ivy has graduated with a degree in supply chain management. Congratulations!

Ivy began her studies over eight years ago. Unfortunately, at that time, she was unable to find a job to pay for her studies, and she was the first in her family to attend college and could not count on her family’s support in this regard due to their very difficult financial situation. Unfortunately, love and good intentions cannot pay for college.

Ivy returned to college in 2018, thanks to the foundation’s donors—her adoptive parents. She completed her bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and internship. She gained knowledge, skills, and experience during her internship. She perfected and honed her skills.

Her studies were extended into 2020 and 2021, when a large part of the classes were suspended and she was unable to complete more than one semester. There were attempts at remote learning, but unfortunately too many students did not have access to equipment or even electricity outside the university, which is why it was a complete failure.

The degree she completed is in English: Procurement and supply chain management in the faculty of commerce, which in Polish means: “supply and supply chain management.”

Her education was supported by wonderful women. In particular, Ms. Edyta, two Ms. Monikas, two Ms. Weronikas, Ms. Emilia, and Ms. Aleksandra. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the support provided for her education. Thanks to you, she will be able to make her own decisions in adult life and will not be dependent on others.

Ivy is also an amazing role model for the children living in the neighborhood and her brother, who, observing her path, also attends school diligently and tries very hard, even though the life of a teenager in Kenya is strewn with tempting “shortcuts” that end very badly for young people. We are glad that he has a good example to follow in the person closest to him ;)
