On a mission – in the new garden – the banana trees have borne fruit! This is a great joy for children and young people.
Thanks to this, they will have access to nutritious fruit that will help with their daily nutrition – especially during afternoon activities at the mission, tutoring, and youth meetings – all of which regularly bring together many children and young people at the mission.
Picking bananas together is also an opportunity to spend time together and build bonds – they can cook together, celebrate the harvest, and enjoy the fruits of their labor. For young people who have actively participated in planting the crops, this is proof that it is worth making an effort and caring for plants, because their care brings beautiful results. Every banana eaten with relish is a small success that strengthens self-confidence and community spirit ;)
