Would you like to help children in Africa? You have the opportunity for direct support of children from the Luanda orphanage. Although the orphanage is more organized than other orphanages in Angola, the situation is still catastrophic. There are over 100 children in the orphanage. At the beginning of 2020, these have included 62 girls and 41 boys. However, the number of children changes from time to time. There is a lack of supplies, such as clean bed sheets, mattresses, blankets, sheets, pillows, sanitary facilities, shoes, clothes, and school benches. The boys sleep in the bunk beds, as many as several of them occupy one room. Two boys usually sleep on one mattress. When there is a lack of space, the older boys sleep on the floor blankets.
A pastor runs this orphanage, who brought to life this facility. However, he doesn’t receive any funds from a state institution or an organization. The pastor literally “knocks from door to door” and asks for any donation. However, it is hard on any funds due to ubiquitous poverty.
